The BaseBrawl token is designed for optimal utility within the BaseBrawl ecosystem. As the protocol's core unit of account, $BB is required to perform a variety of actions - some of which permanently burn $BB from the supply.
As BaseBrawl strives to be as inclusive of all demographics, regardless of wallet size (our size is not size). Over time the $BB required for performing actions within the protocol will vary depending on decentralized governance outcomes dictating these fees. Initially these values will be set by the protocol founding team to maintain a low barrier of entry as the community grows.
A protocol 'take rate' is included in a variety of actions, designed to grow the BaseBrawl Treasury for future growth and development, again - as decided by the implemented governance framework. Some actions may include a percentage mix of both burning and a 'take rate' of $BB tokens.
Actions that require $BB within the BaseBrawl protocol include, but are not limited to the following:
Defacto payment currency for Brawler registrations.
Required for purchasing Brawler manoeuvre attempts (in-conjunction with points).
Required for purchasing Brawler statistic improvements (in-conjunction with points).
Purchasing manoeuvre capsules from the in-game store.
Restoring a Brawler to default state.
Renting Brawlers from other players (minimum charge enforced).
Entry fees for onchain tournaments (shared prize pool).
Staking to earn in-game .
Exchanging for loot boxes, upgrading loot box rarity.
Stake for limited edition in-game items.
