BaseBrawl's Rental Marketplace provides collectors with the ability to monetize access to their Brawler by participating in the protocol's native lending mechanism. In order for a player to rent a Brawler, the attestation owner must enable the rental ability on the marketplace contract. During this process, the owner must set an amount of $BB they wish to charge for the privilege of accessing their Brawler. A take fee is subtracted from the defined amount and the owner of the attestation receives the defined value less the protocol take fee.

Important considerations when utilizing the Rental Marketplace:

• Points are not earned by Brawlers that are rented.

• Brawlers can be rented for use in wager queues of all denominations.

• The protocol enforces a minimum rental amount that can be charged.

• The protocol does NOT enforce a maximum rental amount that can be charged.

• Rentals are on a PER GAME basis and do not persist past one game.

• A Brawler may only be in one game at a time. If a Brawler is currently being rented by another player, the game must complete before the Brawler can be rented again.

• The attestation owner may not use the Brawler if it is being rented.

• The attestation owner will receive the rental amount less the protocol fee.

• Rental allowances on a Brawler can be revoked at any time by the attestation owner.

• Lenders only receive payment once the Brawler has entered the match.

• If a player rents a Brawler and exits the queue before a game is found, the player is refunded the rental amount.

• If a player has rented a Brawler and is unable to find a game within the "queue timeout limit", the Brawler may be forcibly exited from the queue - freeing up the Brawler for another rental and refunding the player.
