# Why BaseBrawl?

At its core, BaseBrawl is a highly composable protocol, designed to incorporate NFT communities across Web3 on a unified competitive platform. Web3 in its current state lacks a substrate that unites communities around a common purpose in shared victory, most communities operate in silos and have very little bonding elements within them. BaseBrawl provides infrastructure to not only strengthen communities, but also provides an outlet for cross community competition and provide value to the concept of NFT communities as a whole.\

Further details on this concept were outlined within the BaseBrawl blog: [`BaseBrawl: A Precursor`](https://mirror.xyz/0x39FeC5fc6213AE61635764e09E0D244431bD6a1D/qERNaIUakKu0Rc-ei6QICSy9_DThXuUXQrq0EK0jt0E)
